Notes on contributors. Hamid Mowlana is Professor Emeritus of International Relations at the School of International Service, American University (AU), Washington D. C. (USA). He was the founding director of the Intercultural and International Communication Program at AU and served as its director for 37 years from 1968 to 2005.
