Piercing/lifting the corporate veil to combat economic crimes in Uganda
62 In Kashillingi v Sembule Steel Mills Ltd & 3 Ors (Miscellaneous Application No. 460 of 2016) [2016] UGHCCD 131 (13 December 2016) 6, the High Court referred to section 20 of the Companies Act and held that 'the jurisdiction to lift the corporate veil of a company is vested in the High Court.'
